characters left

Kept with the prospect record. Visible to you and your administrator, never to the prospect — and retained with the record for the firm’s five-year books-and-records requirement, so write them as business notes.

Profile

Who prospects see when they come through your funnel. Name and email changes go through your administrator (email is also your sign-in).

Settings

These apply to every report generated from your funnel link.

Where the "Book My Free Portfolio Review" buttons on your prospects' reports send them — your Calendly, Acuity, or any scheduling page. Leave blank to fall back to an email link.

Each new lead and completed analysis is POSTed here as JSON, so prospects flow into your CRM automatically.

Firm branding (white-label)

Put your firm's identity on everything your prospects see: the analyzer pages behind your funnel link, this portal, and the PDF reports. Leave blank to use the PortfolioLab look.

PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 1 MB. Shown in the page header in place of the PortfolioLab mark — a wide "lockup" version of your logo works best.

Billing

Your monthly PortfolioLab subscription. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled; cancel any time below and keep access through the end of the current billing period. Charges are non-refundable, including for partial periods. Full terms in our Terms of Service.

Your QR code

Scanning it opens your personal funnel link — every prospect who comes in this way is routed to you. Put it on business cards, seminar slides, mailers, or a table stand.

The download is a high-resolution PNG on a white background with the required quiet zone — print-ready as is.

Manage advisors

Each advisor gets a funnel link for marketing and a private sign-in for this portal. Prospects arriving without an advisor's link go to the default advisor. Open an advisor to edit details, copy setup links, or manage access.

Company card

Type a ticker and the system builds its Under the Microscope card — what the company does, then its valuation, financial health, profitability and three-year growth from its filings. The finished card is emailed to you for review, and nothing posts until you approve it there, exactly like the daily cards.

0/160. Shown on the card under the picture and at the top of the caption, in PortfolioLab's name. Describe; don't recommend or forecast — words like “buy”, “undervalued” or “will” get flagged here and read by the CCO.

A few words on what the picture should show. Left blank, it is drawn from the company's description. Objects and places only — no company name, logo or text, which the prompt forbids anyway.

Takes about three to five minutes. The email shows the exact image and caption; the card describes the company's figures and makes no recommendation — read the description sentences especially, since they are condensed from the company's own profile.

Add an advisor

The funnel code, portal token and password-setup link are generated automatically.

The advisor's personal marketing link — put it on business cards, mailers and seminar slides. Letters, numbers and hyphens only. Leave blank when adding to use their name automatically. Renaming it later keeps the old link working.

Adding an advisor emails them an invite with a setup link and a temporary password. They click the link, enter the temporary password, choose their own, and from then on sign in with their email. Invites work once and expire after 7 days; emailing a new one is also the password-reset flow.
